The Covid 19 pandemic that hit the world has changed many things, one of which is the concept of dance performance which requires the presentation to no longer take place directly. This is also what the Department of Dance, Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta must do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of this Dance Department Virtual Dance work is \"Journey\", which was proposed by Martinus Miroto. Miroto argued that human life is a Journey<\/em>the journey. There is a beginning, a birth, then entering the stages of life. From the description of each choreographer's concept, Setyastuti's work is arranged in the first order, as a depiction of birth. Followed by Darmawan Dadijono's work as a spiritual journey. Rina Martiara's work, as a depiction of establishment, the majesty of tradition. Hendro Martono's work as a depiction of adversity, and ended with Miroto's work that raised Ki Slamet Gundono's hologram. Ki Slamet Gundono (deceased), for Miroto, is considered an example that even after death, we are still alive. This is because the person continues to be talked about and remembered... He remains alive... even though his body is gone...<\/p>\n\n\n\n
