The National Conference was attended by representatives from each generation. This first National Conference is the starting point of a new struggle to strengthen the existence and increase the role of alumni of the ISI Yogyakarta Dance Department in society in the context of service to the country and nation. ASTI-ISI Yogyakarta Dance Alumni is an integral part of ISI Yogyakarta which is intended as a forum to form an intellectual and social community that contributes to increasing the nation's innovation and creativity in order to compete at the national and international levels. That in an effort to support the realization of the vision, mission, and objectives of higher education in the arts at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta (ISI Yogyakarta), the involvement of ISI Yogyakarta alumni is needed.   The National Conference this time successfully elected the IKASTISI board.  Drs. Sigit Gunardjo, MM (class of 1979) was elected as chairman.
