ISI Yogyakarta held a National Education Day Commemoration Ceremony which was held on Monday, May 2, 2019, in the courtyard of the Old Rectorate Building. The ceremony was attended by ISI Yogyakarta Leaders, students, lecturers, and employees in ISI Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In commemorating this 2019 National Education Day, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, as the Ceremony Supervisor. in his speech read the Remarks of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education at the 2019 National Education Day Commemoration Ceremony with the theme of realizing \"Competitive, Innovative, and Characterful Human Resources\"<\/strong>. This theme is relevant in a world that is becoming increasingly complex with a rapid pace of change. The software revolution has transformed economic activities, with some existing jobs being replaced by automation. This shift will undoubtedly require the education system to evolve accordingly. This ceremony should be a momentum to reflect and measure the steps ahead, how our higher education is able to answer the challenges and realize these opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Satyalancana Karya Satya honors were given for 30 years to 15 lecturers and employees, 20 years to 11 lecturers and employees, and 10 years to 20 lecturers and employees. In addition, awards were also given to Outstanding Students, namely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
